What happened this past week (third week of February):

This week Nathan and Joy were busy looking for jobs. Baby saw an orthopedist to have her hips checked. He said there is a 98% chance she's going to be just fine, but he recommends having an x-ray at 8 months to make sure. He said right now her hips are just cartilage so nothing would show up in an x-ray.
This week baby is doing a better job holding her head up and is starting to grab things - like Mommy's shirt, burb clothes, and hair. Fortunately she hasn't learned to pull yet, so the hair is still doing OK.
For date night this week Joy and Nathan tried Enne Cucina Italiana, which was decent.

Nathan is keeping busy with real estate.

Current callings (voluntary church job): Nathan - ward clerk, and home teacher; Joy - visiting teacher, and ward bulletin specialist.

Nathan is now reading David O Mackay.
Joy is reading The Baby Sleep Book by Dr. Sears.
Joy has been lazy about updating her database of books (see link below).

Personal Information: My name is Joy Jo Logan Condie. I graduated in computer science from B.Y.U.
I was born in southern California, but I've spent most of my life in Orem, Utah.
Interests: I've practiced piano since I was eight. (That doesn't necessarily mean I'm any good.) I like to read, especially mystery novels. Agatha Christie is one of my favorite authors. I also like old classics such as Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, and Pride and Prejudice.
